Responsible Entrepreneurs

We nurture a culture of responsible entrepreneurship
Being Responsible Entrepreneur, this means bringing our know-how, our search for excellence and our way of operating, in trust and over the long term, to life with our employees and partners in the regions.
It also means guiding our teams in the pursuit of overall performance, which includes both financial and non-financial performance.
This is reflected in our daily actions to:
- Contribute to the development of the regions where we operate
- Ensure the safety of our teams across all sites and promote well-being at work
- Promote the role of women in our organizations
- Promote the inclusion of people with disabilities
- Develop our skills and know-how
Labels that recognize our way of working
- For nearly 15 years, we have participated in the Top Employer certification.
In 2025, for the first time, we received the Top Employer Large Enterprise label, which recognizes the commitment and quality of our HR practices on an international scale.
- In 2025, during the third Great Place To Work survey conducted among our employees, 70% of the Group’s employees stated that Savencia is a « company where it is truly great to work ».
Solidarity: a value embodied by our teams at the heart of the regions
Starting in 2029: organization of an annual collective solidarity action (mobilizing all employees volonteers) in favor of their local region.
Created in 2010 by the Savencia Group, the endowment fund ‘Bien Nourrir l’Homme’ is at the heart of the Responsible Entrepreneur culture. The projects, driven by Savencia employees, serve three major areas:
- Access to suffcient and quality food for all,
- Food education, by raising awareness and informing about healthy and sustainable eating practices,
- Development of local agricultural infrastructures.
In 2025, these efforts materialized through support for 6 associations in France, providing people in precarious situations with quality food, social support, and cooking workshops. In 5 other countries, the Fund also contributed to initiatives such as agroecology training in Cambodia and the Republic of Congo, as well as vegetable gardens in Madagascar.
The Valrhona Solidarity Fund supports young people in realizing their projects for a fair and desirable future in the world of cocoa and chocolate. Its mission « Giving young people a taste for the future » is structured around three axes:
- Valuing and developing local gastronomy through passionate professions.
- Strengthening the transmission of know-how to those furthest from employment.
- Accelerating the ecological transition and contributing to the preservation of our planet.
The 26 projects supported since 2019 share a common denominator: the positive impact they create for beneficiaries and territories. To discover them in detail, visit the Valrhona Solidarity Fund website.
