CSR results and commitments
The Annual Report highlights our initiatives to reduce our environmental footprint and strengthen our sustainable practices in line with the objectives of the Oxygen plan. In 2023, we also confirmed our commitment to further decarbonization by validating our GHG targets with the SBTi, aiming to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by 27.5% in absolute terms for scopes 1 and 2 and by 22.5% per ton of product for scope 3 by 2030 compared with 2019. This commitment guides our efforts to decarbonize our entire value chain, from milk production to the renovation of energy facilities.
Partnerships for a sustainable dairy industry
In 2023, Savencia signed a partnership with the Organisation de Producteurs du Sud-Ouest Laitier (OP SOL) and the Fromagerie des Chaumes. The aim of this agreement is to promote sustainable farming practices and ensure the long-term future of the French dairy industry. In addition, we have welcomed 200 new producers over the last two years, reinforcing our commitment to fair remuneration and responsible production.
